Alex,
We sent an email to all purchasers of the app last night in advance of the announcement. Maybe it went to your spam folder? Or to an email address you don't check often?
I'll make sure we update the blog post ASAP with this very important information. You are absolutely right that this information should be obvious in the post!
Thanks!

Unless this post was updated this morning, it does say that people who bought the app will get a credit on their account.
I'm very happy I waited it out. App is great but wasn't worth $40. Thank you for making it free!

Thank you ShootQ!!!! I did purchase the app and I am pleased that they are offering this app for FREE. I did think it was worth the price.
This shows me the true commitment that Shoot Q is offering their clients. I was also a past Pictage user who was very unhappy with their past performance, but since Shoot Q is making the effort for high customer satisfaction I can only do the same. Today I will sign up for a Pictage Account, it's my way of saying thanks for their continued improvements. I will also post on my blog, any positive or negative feedback on my new Pictage account. I have faith that Shoot Q staff know what they are doing. Again, Thank you for all your efforts.

Any chances of there also being a Blackberry App?

The iPhone and now the iPad are the most perspective next-generation mobile platform in the today's market. The process of designing an iPhone/iPad application is very much like to that of the creating a Mac OS X application. iPhone is a mobile platform, and it has other purposes when comparing with a Mac OX.

I have had the app for a while. I have updated it regularly and just got the iPhone 4. Currently, this app sucks!! I can't even open it, it just crashes every time. Please fix!!!
